Music Video First Edit

We have realised when filming this that there is going to need more of a variety of shots as having a wide shot each time makes it have less depth and is quite boring. We are going to re film so we can have these. During the time lapse as well we want a close up of her face as she can show emotions, we can also get her to sing along with in the crowd so it doesn't seem as random. The lip syncing in the park is out of time which is something that needs to be sorted out in post production. The black and white memories through out the instrumental make the audience emphasise with her, I think we can incorporate this more through out as it will link in with the narrative. I also don't like the narrative of Jonah cheating on Georgia so I am going to remove those shots of their phones. On the topic of Jonah, I want to redo the shots of him so that when he hears the bad news about Georgia he drops his phone on the floor so it is more realistic, we will then slow the shutter speed down so that it is dramatic. The first shot in the bed needs to be redone as along with the whole video there isn't enough lip syncing through out. This will be changed by re filming using a range of close ups and medium close up. Lastly we have decided that we need to change the colour tone to make it more like a film not a TV show as it will become more realistic. (the bits in black still need to be filmed).

However, we really like the use of the polaroid and the photos on the graffiti wall as well as the effects as they create a more fun and interesting music video for example like the leaves being reversed. The black and white memories are also interesting as they show how much fun she was having and highlights how quick life can be taken. I think with more of these memories will create a faster pace and create a better narrative.
